One Connection At A Time

Created by a clinician, Novo Connections started with the vision of helping healthcare professionals find freedom with the right opportunities. From the start, we’ve been dedicated to helping nurses, dietitians, and allied health professionals create their own schedules, pursue their own goals, or travel for work on their own terms. Since then, our company has gained a reputation in the market for bringing together exceptional clinicians and facilities for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities.

Today, Novo Connections consists of a growing team of recruiters across the country who understand the challenges of the healthcare sector and work hard to build rapport and bonds between clinicians and care facilities. Using years of medical and staffing experience, Novo Connections is committed to doing what it takes to become a go-to industry partner, improving lives with each connection we make.

FAQs

What type of staffing do we do at Novo?

We hire most every medical professional, from nurses, nurse assistants, Allied health and even Dietitians.

Do we pay for your credentials?

We cover the background check and the drug screen. You are responsible for obtaining your own credentials (ex: BLS, TB, Titers etc.) They are yours to bring with you wherever you go.

Whats the pay schedule like?

Our pay schedules here run bi-weekly; every other Friday is payday. We will give you a full pay schedule upon hire.

Are you a 1099 agency?

We are a standard W2 employer.

Obtaining state licensure

Every state is different so you will need to search that states processes for obtaining a license. The best link to follow is usually the .gov or that states government site. RN's and LPN's have the ability to apply for a compact or a multi-state license. CNA's/LNA's will need to apply for each state they wish to travel to individually.

Are there opportunities for first-time travelers?

Yes! Many of our partners accept first-time travelers, providing they meet the experience level and qualifications necessary to complete the assignment.

Can I find an assignment close to my home?

This is very possible. To be considered a Traveler and receive the tax-free stipend, you do have to reside 50 miles from your assigned facility, but many facilities are happy to accept “Local Travelers.”

What happens when my assignment is coming to an end?

As your contract comes to an end your recruiter will reach out to discuss your options. Is it possible to stay and extend your contract? Would you prefer to move on to a new location? We will work with you to find your next great adventure!

What kind of licensure do I need as a Travel Nurse/Allied Health?

Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses can obtain a Compact License that encompasses many states. CNAs will need to apply to each state individually for reciprocity. Most states will accept a National Certification for Medical Assistants, but a few states do require specific state licensure. Regardless of what type of license you hold, we will do our best to find a great fit for you!
