RD – Registered Dietitian Part Time Remote Telehealth Weight Management

Part-Time Remote Registered Dietitian – Telehealth (20–25 Hours/Week)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our remote care team, providing nutrition support to patients using GLP-1 medications for weight management.

In this role, you will work closely with individuals to optimize dietary habits, support sustainable weight loss, and manage potential side effects associated with GLP-1 therapies.

This position is ideal for a Registered Dietitian with a strong interest in weight management, metabolic health, and behavior change. While prior experience with GLP-1 medications is not required, candidates should be eager to learn and apply evidence-based approaches to support patients effectively.

You will conduct virtual consultations, develop personalized nutrition plans, and provide ongoing education and encouragement to help patients achieve long-term success.

Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport in a remote setting are essential.

Schedule:

  • 20–25 hours per week
    • Hours of operation 8am – 8pm M-F / 9am – 4 pm Saturday
    • Required availability of one morning, one afternoon, and one evening each week. One Saturday per month.

Compensation: 10 – 99

  • $42 – $47/hour patient engagement / $35 admin, training and meetings.
  • Compensation tier based on years experience:

0-2 $42
2-5 $44
5-10 $45
10-20 $46
20+ $47

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) focused on weight management and weight loss.
  • Provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition counseling via telehealth platforms
  • Track and document client progress in a timely and compliant manner
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams when needed

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential in good standing
  • This position requires strong computer skills and the ability to learn and use new programs effectively. Candidates should be familiar with TEAMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to schedule one day of mornings, one day of afternoons, and one day of evenings weekly. One Saturday monthly is advised.
  • Ability to commit a minimum of 20 hours weekly.
